This policy outlines our procedures for responding to claims of copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. ยง 512. FestivalCalendar.online is operated by SlateRiver LLC, a New Mexico LLC.
1. Overview
If you believe that content available through this platform infringes your copyright, please follow the procedure set forth below to submit a notice of infringement. We respond to all valid notices expeditiously.

3. Takedown Process
Upon receipt of a valid notice of copyright infringement, we will act expeditiously to:
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
- Notify the party who posted the material (if applicable) that it has been removed
- Provide the notifying party with confirmation of receipt and action taken
4. Notice Requirements
To be effective under the DMCA, your notice must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material, including its URL on our platform
- Your contact information: name, mailing address, phone number, and email
- A statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
Incomplete notices may not receive a response or may result in delayed action.
5. Counter-Notice
If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material removed and where it appeared before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury of your good faith belief that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, phone number, and email address
- A statement consenting to jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or New Mexico if outside the US), and that you will accept service from the original complainant
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we may reinstate the removed material within 10โ14 business days unless the complainant seeks a court order.
6. Repeat Infringer Policy
It is our policy, in appropriate circumstances, to terminate accounts or access of users who are repeat infringers โ defined as anyone who has received more than two valid infringement notices or had content removed more than once.
7. Good Faith & Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. ยง 512(f), any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages including costs and attorney's fees. We encourage rights owners to consider fair use before submitting a notice.
